Proposed Bylaw Changes

On Thursday, August 20th, the men of our Italian American Society will vote on whether to approve or not approve the newly proposed bylaws. The proposed bylaws were shared and discussed at our May and June 2026 meetings. In addition to sharing the proposed bylaws at the meetings, we have posted the proposed bylaws and a summary sheet articulating how the newly proposed bylaws differ from our current bylaws. As President, I feel it is imperative that we extend as many opportunities as possible for members to share their thoughts relative to the proposed changes.

Therefore, with the help of Dooley and Associates, we have created an area in our Men’s Member Portal for members to share and read other members’ thoughts and opinions. I have only two requirements. You must include your name, and your words must be written respectfully. If your submission does not include a name and/or is accusatory or disrespectful in its content or tone, you will receive an email response explaining why we did not post your comments. We welcome varying opinions and positions on the subject. We do not welcome ungentlemanly behavior.
